Joseph Smith - (December 23, 1805 – June 27, 1844) American religious leader and founder of the Later Day Saints movement, later recognized as the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints, also known as the Mormon church. No wonder he had such an easy time getting people to follow him.
